DIY T-shirt infinity scarf

So simple and so cute!

All you have to do is cut any adult/juniors sized t-shirt.
Start with cutting off the bottom seam and then a straight line just below the arm holes.

Give it a little tug to make your cut not so noticable.

And walah! You now have yourself a new infinity scarf. Simle as that!

DIY Under Kitchen sink spruce up

After seeing this post on pinterest I knew this was an easy project for me that I had to do. Since we were putting in a new sink this weekend I thought what better time to do this being with the sink out I had more room to work. So I headed to Menards and they had basic peel and stiles for $0.49 each making my project a whopping $3.00, score!!

The before: A little scary!

And After: Much better! I am very pleased with the results, even though I am probably the only one who will enjoy seeing it, meh oh well at least I like it then! :)

DIY Spring Wreath

In anticipation for spring I made this beautiful wreath for our door.

Using a grapevine wreath from Michael's and a Letter "C" for our last name and for the flowers used coffee filters (already had on hand) and food coloring (again already had).

I followed this tutorial and chose to use red food coloring. I soaked the filters in a large bowl with water and a couple squirts of red food coloring only for a second just enough to cover the filters then ringed out the excess liquid. Then separated each one to let dry (we let them dry overnight).

Attached the flowers to the wreath using hot glue, and then twine for our initial. And look at this beauty :)

If you would like me to make you one, please contact me, if you chose to make one please give credit where it is due!

Door Decor for kids

Using a command hook upside down I hung this frame (that Daddy made)with ribbon for Hayden's room. I love the personalization and the fact that I can easily take it down with no damage.

I should probably tie it in a pretty bow, but you get the idea!

Baby Boy Bowtie

Scrambling to find something quick for our Easter pics I turned to Pinterest and found a tutorial here for this cute bowtie. Using leftover fabric from a previous project. Super easy and cheap considering all you need is a 5x5 piece of fabric and was able to finish the whole thing during naptime. Here is the finished bowtie!

Can't wait to see my little man all dressed up for Easter pics :)

ETA: Look how precious he looks with his bowtie :)

Bright coordinating Pillows

I wanted to get some bright fun colored pillows but didn't want to have to buy all new ones at $14.99+ for each one. So I used a 40% off coupon at Joann's buying a yard of fabric and just recovered my old pillows.
Total cost $5.49 for 5 new pillows !

Notebook with Style

Supplies;
Cardstock, thick quilting needle, thread, and given amount of paper you desire.

Cut the paper and cardstock to desired size, make marks along both the cardstock and paper about 1/4 inch apart along the binding. start "sewing" the paper to the cardstock using the quilting needle and thread.

Use coordinating ducktape or similar along the binding to hide the threading.

If you desire make a design on the outside, I chose a simple heart design. A easy cheap way to add personality to your journals, notebooks etc.
